Warranty & Safety Policy

At Rocket Stoves Direct, we take pride in the craftsmanship and durability of every rocket stove we build. Each unit is hand-fabricated by our team at Arc Force Manufacturing in Quitman, Texas, using heavy-duty steel and precision welding to ensure lasting performance.

Lifetime Warranty — Steel Body & Welded Structure

We warrant that the primary steel body and welded structural components of your rocket stove are free from material and workmanship defects for the lifetime of the original purchaser, under normal outdoor use.

One-Year Limited Warranty — Removable Parts

All accessories and removable components are covered by a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Surface rust, patina, or heat discoloration
  • Cosmetic changes from normal heat exposure
  • Damage caused by improper fuel, chemical exposure, or neglect
  • Damage resulting from drops, collisions, or misuse
  • Commercial, rental, or institutional use unless approved in writing
  • Unauthorized modifications, welding, or alterations
  • Damage resulting from natural disasters, severe weather, or other acts of God

Warranty Claim Procedure

To submit a warranty claim, please:

  1. Provide proof of purchase
  2. Include photos or video clearly showing the issue
  3. Return the product or part if requested for inspection

If your claim is approved, Rocket Stoves Direct will repair or replace the product or defective component at our discretion.
Shipping costs may apply unless otherwise required by law.

Rocket Stoves Direct reserves the right to determine warranty eligibility and the appropriate remedy. This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

 

Safety Guidelines & User Disclaimer

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE
This rocket stove is designed for outdoor recreational and emergency use only. Improper use may result in fire, injury, or death. Always operate responsibly.
By using this product, you acknowledge responsibility for safe operation and compliance with all instructions and local fire regulations.

GENERAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Outdoor Use Only

  • Never use indoors, in garages, tents, sheds, campers, RVs, vehicles or other enclosed structures
  • Use only in open, well-ventilated outdoor environments

Surface & Placement

  • Place stove on a level, non-flammable surface
  • Keep at least 10 ft (3 meters) away from buildings, trees, overhangs, furniture, or flammable materials
  • Do not operate on decking, grass, or near dry brush unless fully protected from ignition risk

Supervision & Personal Safety

  • Never leave the stove unattended
  • Keep children and pets clear at all times
  • Wear heat-resistant gloves
  • Avoid loose or flammable clothing

Fire Awareness

  • Maintain a fire extinguisher, water bucket, sand, or fire blanket nearby
  • Do not operate in high winds or extreme weather
  • Do not transport or attempt to move the stove while hot or in use

FUEL & FIRE CONTROL
Approved Fuel

  • Dry sticks and twigs, Small natural wood pieces, Natural fiber fire starters (no chemical accelerants)

Do NOT Use

  • Gasoline, lighter fluid, or accelerants, Pressurized fuel cans, Painted or pressure-treated wood, Trash, plastics, chemicals, cardboard

Operation Guidelines

  • Feed fuel gradually — do not overfill
  • Keep airflow chamber clear
  • Do not create large, uncontrolled flames
  • Allow stove and ashes to cool completely before disposal or storage

COOKING SAFETY

  • Use stable cookware only — cast iron recommended
  • Grease-producing foods may ignite — monitor constantly
  • Never throw water on grease fire — smother or remove heat source

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
If flame becomes large or unstable:
1. Stop adding fuel
2. Remove sticks if safe
3. Smother flame or extinguish using water or sand
4. Call emergency services if fire becomes uncontrollable
If serious burn or smoke inhalation occurs: Call 911 immediately

  • Improper use
  • Negligence
  • Modifications
  • Unsupervised use
  • Property damage or personal injury resulting from misuse
